Director:

Rachel Kornfeld completed a teachers seminary in Montreal Canada before attending Touro College in NY. She graduated “summa cum laude” with a B.S. in Communication Disorders with a minor in Education. She also holds a Masters Degree in Health Sciences, Speech and Hearing Disorders. She is a state licensed and  ASHA accredited Speech Language Pathologist.

Currently the Educational Director at Chabad of Hunterdon County and a practicing Speech Therapist, as well as the mother of 6 adorable children, Rachel has vast experience in the areas of children’s programming and education. She has worked as a successful counselor and head counselor in California, Florida and North Carolina. Upon graduating she worked as a teacher and assistant program director at Free Hebrew for Juniors, a supplementary school providing Hebrew and Jewish studies to public school students in 22 schools. 

Rachel has successfully built the Chabad of Hunterdon Hebrew School from an enrollment of two to a current enrollment of more than fifty children. 

Youth Director:

Rabbi Avraham Posner is the Youth Director at Chabad of Hunterdon County and runs successful Cteen and JewCrew groups as well as Homework Helpers, Bar Mitzvah Preparatory Course and training, Teen and Senior Program and countless other events servicing our youth and the community at large with social and volunteer programming. 

He has been involved in camps for many years as a counselor, head counselor, director in countries around the world as well as the On-Site Director at Camp Gan Israel of Hunterdon County.
